Terms & Conditions

In consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, Writer and Client agree to the following terms:
This contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
Elite Résumés LLC (hereinafter "Writer") shall deliver to Client one customized Résumé not to exceed two pages, pricing based on Client experience level as indicated on website. Optional add-ons described below.
Writer shall not accept partial payment and is not required to complete any work under this contract until full payment is received. All payments shall be in U.S. dollars. No portion of the payment shall be refundable.
Once Writer receives full payment from Client, Writer shall within 24 hours deliver to Client by email a questionnaire requesting information relevant to completing the Résumé. This information may include but is not limited to information about Client’s education, professional history, projects, accomplishments, and volunteer experience. Client shall return the completed questionnaire to Writer.
Writer shall deliver the first draft of the Résumé to Client by email within 10 business days of receiving the completed questionnaire. Any draft or iteration of the Résumé may contain questions from Writer to Client, in addition to highlighted areas indicating where information should be inserted.
Once Client receives the first draft of the Résumé, Client shall have 10 business days to request revisions. All requests for revisions shall be delivered to Writer by email at info@eliteresumesllc.com. Writer shall turn over revisions within 3 business days of receiving a request for revisions. Writer may refuse to complete any revisions in whole or in part if the scope of work would be near or equivalent to completing a new draft from scratch.
Writer reserves the right to refrain from fulfilling any requests or demands from Client regarding the content of the Résumé at any time if such requests or demands would violate the terms of this contract, applicable laws or regulations, or résumé writing best practices.
Client gives consent for Writer to intercept and record any oral communication that occurs between them during the scope of this agreement for note-taking purposes. Writer shall not sell these recordings to a third-party. However, Writer may utilize telecommunications services to create, store, or transcribe the digital files (e.g., Zoom, Google, iCloud, etc.). Writer is not responsible for the use or misuse of the recordings by telecommunications or computing services.
Writer does not guarantee that Client shall obtain a job, an interview, or any other benefit from using the deliverables.
Writer shall provide all deliverables in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
Optional Add-Ons:
Add-ons shall be completed after the Résumé. Once Client confirms satisfaction with the Résumé, or once the above-mentioned 10-day revision window has expired, Writer shall deliver to Client within 5 business days the first drafts of the Cover Letter and LinkedIn Profile Content Document as applicable.
Once Client receives the first draft(s) of the add-ons, Client shall have 10 business days to request revisions. All requests for revisions shall be delivered to Writer by email at info@eliteresumesllc.com. Writer shall turn over revisions within 3 business days of receiving a request for revisions. Writer may refuse to complete any revisions in whole or in part if the scope of work would be near or equivalent to completing new drafts from scratch.
Any draft or iteration of the add-on(s) may contain questions from Writer to Client, in addition to highlighted areas indicating where information should be inserted.
Writer shall not enter content into Client’s LinkedIn profile via the LinkedIn platform, but rather shall provide written content and recommendations in .docx format. The Client can then copy and paste the content to complete their LinkedIn profile. Writer shall not prepare content for LinkedIn “posts” or other content not typically found on a LinkedIn Profile page. Writer shall not provide graphics, photos, or image files (however, Writer may provide Client with general advice/recommendations on LinkedIn profile pictures and background photos).
WRITER SHALL NEVER REQUEST THE CLIENT’S LINKEDIN PASSWORD, AND CLIENT SHALL NOT PROVIDE IT.
